LOVE THESE "Power Ups"

I would so get a pair of these to run around in when I take AJ to the park. EXCEPT that they cost $160 and their hand-painted. But they are so cool. I love Super Mario Bros. and these shoes bring back many memories of fighting over the controller for a turn with my brother and sister. The artist Rachelle Williams sells these on her Etsy shop ParadoxArtistry. She will make them in any size if you've got the money.

Buy a pair... support the economy... buy me a pair while your at it... I promise I won't ever get them dirty. lol.

Is it just me?

I am starting to think something is wrong with me. I usually adore Jimmy Choo's just like every other women on the planet. BUT, these JC's witht he light up heels... WTF?? I just can't gt into them. Maybe growing up in Miami has put a stigmatism on heels that are clear and/or light up. Hahaha... those are = to stripper heels. I just can't do it. It cheapens the whole shoe. I can't spend my good money on Choo's an think to myself that I am fashioned after a stripper. Hell nah, that's all I have to say on these shoes, Hell nah. SO, why is everyone so excited over these. Whats the fuss? They aren't even that cute. But then again, they could be extremely cute, but my vision is just tainted because when I look at them, All I can think of is some "lady" on a stage at Diamonds wearing a remakably percise pair of knock-offs, doing someting strange for some change. Yeah, so I'll pass on these.

Ode to a New Job

For the New Job that I did not want,
with the long commute that I can not stand,
with the million stop lights and the sun glaring directly in my face,
with the dreadful traffic that does not let up the whole way home,
I am so Grateful.

If it wasn't for my New Job, with the long commute, and ALL that traffic...

I never would have been stuck at the same intersection for three light cycles,
I never would have been at a stand still long enough to notice that store;
The shoe store that saved my sanity last Friday night...

Two hours and Three Pair later & I LOVE my New Job!
